Rory O’Mara: The Architect of Property Finance

Join us, as property finance specialist and Angel Investor, Rory O’Mara shares “The Great Reshuffle”, a practical, no-nonsense roadmap for landlords and developers who want to buy better, refurbish smarter and protect profit in the face of new tenant law, EPC upgrades and stubbornly high mortgage rates.

He will cover these key areas:

· What the Renters’ Rights changes, EPC pressure, inflation and higher borrowing costs really mean for landlords, developers and investors today

· Why the next 5 years will reward better operators, better buying decisions and stronger systems, rather than “lazy” property investing.

· Where profit will come from now, including buying well, adding value, improving stock and creating planning gain.

· The practical playbooks for landlords and developers to protect margin, reduce risk and build more resilient deals.

· The key actions to take now so your portfolio, projects and acquisitions are fit for the market ahead

She founded CQC Consultancy to bridge that gap, helping homeowners, investors and developers understand what is being asked of them, why applications stall, and how to move forward with clarity.

Known for her calm and practical approach, Catherine focuses on turning uncertainty into clear, actionable next steps.

  • Donna Walker

Donna is a property investor based in Ipswich with a long-standing connection to property. She bought her first home at 19 and became a landlord at 24.

Donna brings lived experience, openness and a genuine belief that it is never too late to take control of your financial future.
